All users of motorised vehicles have an obligation to any other person who shares with them use of the road. Furthermore, all have an obligation to possess, at the least, third-party insurance to provide cover in the event of a road accident.
If you are a motorcycle rider and have sustained injury in a road traffic accident (RTA) you believe to be attributable to the actions of another road user, the personal injury solicitors at Seth Lovis & Co can help you ensure full compensation through the making of a motorbike accident claim.

2012-13 - the lowest number of motorcycle accident fatalities on record
In 2013 it was revealed that there had been a 9% decrease in the number of fatal motorbike accidents, this was considered significant even when factoring the 2% drop in motorcycle mileage when compared to the previous year. Overall, there was a 0.4% rise in vehicle traffic.
In fact, 2012-2013's figure of 328 fatalities amongst motorcyclists was the lowest ever recorded in the United Kingdom; however this still represented a disproportionately large number of the 1,754 killed on roads in the UK in all kinds of traffic accidents.
It was also clear from the statistics that men aged between 35 and 55 remain the most frequently injured group in motorcycle accidents, particularly where they are riding on rural roads on bikes 125cc and above. Rural road accidents involving this demographic accounted for two-thirds of motorbike crashes, with the majority of such incidents involving only a single vehicle.
