Alice is a solicitor in the industrial disease department. She represents victims of asbestos diseases and industrial deafness. For many years she handled solely asbestos disease claims, including mesothelioma cases, but also claims for pleural thickening, asbestosis, and asbestos-related lung cancer.
She believes passionately that individuals deserve safe places in which to learn and work, and has been a member of the Asbestos in Schools Group which lobbies the Government to tackle the issue of asbestos in schools, and a member of the All Party Parliamentary Group on Occupational Safety and Health.
Before joining Seth Lovis & Co Alice worked for O.H. Parsons LLP and Irwin Mitchell LLP in London.
She says, "I love my job because I’m fighting for justice. I act for people who have worked hard but now have a disease as a result of a past employer not giving them protection from dangers in the work place when health and safety laws required them to. I feel it’s important because not only does it give something back to those who are now suffering due to their past employer’s negligence, but also it encourages employers to take health and safety seriously.”
